Supreme Court grants relief to Mohan Babu.

Hyderabad: Actor Mohan Babu received relief from the Supreme Court in a case involving an assault on a journalist. The court granted him anticipatory bail in connection with the attack on a media representative at his residence in Jalpally. Following the incident, Pahadishareef police filed a case of attempted murder against Mohan Babu. Initially, the police filed a case under Section 118(1) of the BNS, but after seeking legal opinion, the case was re-registered under Section 109 and converted into an attempt to murder case.

In response to the incident, the injured journalist received an apology from Mohan Babu. He also issued a letter expressing regret over the situation. He mentioned that he was saddened by the injury to the journalist’s brother. Due to health reasons, he couldn’t respond immediately as he had to be hospitalized for 48 hours. In his letter, Mohan Babu described how around 30 to 50 people had barged into his home after his gate was broken, which led him to lose his temper.

While trying to control the situation, the journalist got injured, which Mohan Babu called unfortunate. He expressed deep regret for the pain caused to the journalist and his family, wishing for the journalist’s swift recovery.

Meanwhile, there was also a dramatic incident during Sankranti at Mohan Babu's university in Tirupati, where bouncers from both sides fought. Eventually, with police permission, Manoj visited the graves of his paternal grandparents on the campus before leaving.
