AP Government provides relief for Muslim employees.
The Andhra Pradesh government has granted Muslim government employees permission to leave an hour earlier during the holy month of Ramadan, from March 2nd to March 30th. Chandrababu Naidu has decided to restart the Ramadan gift scheme and take measures for the welfare of Muslim minorities, including the construction of a Haj House in Vijayawada.

The Andhra Pradesh government has brought good news for Muslim employees. In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, the state government has granted permission for Muslim government employees to leave their duties an hour earlier than usual. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced this decision during a cabinet meeting and directed the authorities accordingly.
From March 2nd to March 30th, Muslim employees working in all government departments will be allowed to leave one hour earlier. This provision applies to teachers, village and ward secretariat employees, as well as outsourcing and contract employees. Previously, during the TDP government, essential commodities were distributed during festivals like Sankranti and Ramadan. However, the YSR Congress Party government had suspended these schemes. Now, the TDP government has decided to bring them back.
Furthermore, CM Naidu has instructed the authorities to release salaries for Muslim religious leaders such as Imams and Mouzams quickly. He also directed officials to begin construction of a Haj House in Vijayawada.
